Sell your Ferrari F430: coupe, Spider and Scuderia

The F430 was the last Ferrari V8 offered with a gated manual and the first with the E-Diff and manettino, and good ones are now bought by enthusiasts rather than first-time Ferrari buyers. ACN Motors buys and consigns F430s from owners across Westchester, Fairfield County and New York City.

Why a trade desk will not give you a real number

A franchise trade desk prices an F430 off wholesale data built from whatever crossed the auction block, which treats a documented manual Spider and a tired F1 coupe as roughly the same car. They are not, and the buyers who pay for the difference do not shop at auctions. We price your car against comparable retail sales of the same spec.

Not every F430 is the same car

F430 coupe and Spider

The core cars, built from 2005 to 2009 with a 4.3-litre V8 and either the F1 automated manual or the six-speed gated manual. Spiders and coupes trade differently depending on spec and mileage.

Six-speed manual

A small share of production, and the cars collectors look for first. A documented gated-manual car usually commands a clear premium over an equivalent F1 car.

430 Scuderia and Scuderia Spider 16M

The lightweight, more powerful versions built at the end of the run. They are their own market, priced on originality, mileage and history.

What moves your number

  1. Transmission. Gated manual or F1, and on F1 cars, the clutch wear reading, which a diagnostic tool shows as a percentage.
  2. Service records. Annual services and major services documented by a Ferrari dealer or known specialist. Missing years cost more than miles.
  3. Exhaust manifolds. A known F430 weak point. A documented replacement is a selling point; a cracked manifold is a negotiation.
  4. Options. Carbon-ceramic brakes, Daytona or carbon racing seats, carbon interior trim, Scuderia shields and colored calipers all add value when they are on the window sticker.
  5. Originality. Original paint, no accident history, the original window sticker, books, tools and car cover.

What not to spend money on first

Do not respray, re-wheel or fit an aftermarket exhaust to make the car more saleable; buyers in this market pay for originality and usually discount modifications. Do not refurbish sticky interior switches or replace tires before talking to us. We will tell you what is worth doing and what a buyer will price in anyway.

Outright sale or consignment

We will make a written cash offer, and for most F430s we will also show you what consignment would net. Consignment is 4% of the sale price, with a $3,000 minimum and a $15,000 cap. At a $150,000 sale price, for example, the fee is $6,000 and you keep $144,000. We prepare, photograph and list the car, screen buyers and handle the paperwork; you approve every offer.

Tell us about your F430

Text the year, mileage, transmission, color, key options and a few photos to 914-800-3212, or use the form on our sell page. If you have the window sticker and service records, include photos of those too.

F430 seller questions

Do you buy F1 and manual F430s?

Yes, both. Manual cars and well-documented F1 cars with healthy clutches are the easiest to sell at strong prices.

My F430 has a cracked exhaust manifold. Will you still buy it?

Yes. It is a known issue and a repairable one; we price it in and tell you what the repair would change.

Do you consign the 430 Scuderia or 16M?

Yes. Special-series cars are good candidates for consignment because the buyer pool is specific and patient.

Do I have to bring the car to Bedford Hills?

Not for an initial number. Photos, mileage, records and the VIN are enough to start; we confirm when we see the car.
